Short plain-text skills for Claude Code
Instruction files you can read in a few minutes and use the same day. Four are free. The rest are in a small shop.
Free, MIT licence
- loop-stopGives every long task a brief, a limit and a stop rule, so a loop does not burn your quota.
- session-handoffWrites a short HANDOFF.md from real command output, so the next session does not start from zero.
- ask-before-buildingAsks up to five questions, agrees a five-line plan, and writes code only after you say yes.
- skill-checkReviews a SKILL.md for safety and quality before you install it, and returns a short pass/fix list.
They live in one GitHub repo. Copy a folder into ~/.claude/skills/ and restart the session.
Forty-four guides
Short guides in plain words, written from the official documentation. A few good places to start:
- Ten checks for your CLAUDE.md
- How to stop an agent from looping, with the limits you can really set
- Habits to spend less of your quota
- A starter list of permission rules
- How to write a SKILL.md
- A 40-line handoff note so a new session can pick up where the last one stopped
- CLAUDE.md, skill, hook or subagent: which one to use
- Using one skill folder in Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI
The shop
- Tune-Up Kit · $14Reviews your CLAUDE.md and permission settings.
- Project Starter Kit · $19Ten CLAUDE.md templates to read and adapt.
- Dev Skills for Codex, Cursor and Gemini CLI · $19Twelve plain-text skills in the open folder layout. Written from each tool's documentation; not yet run inside those tools.
The pack of seven skills and the rest are in the full shop, in English and Spanish. One payment, instant download.
Where we are
We test each file by hand in our own projects before it goes out. We have not measured results on other people's projects and there are no customer reviews yet, so we do not promise savings or results. It is all plain text, so you can read it first.
